ReverbEquipment that makes reverb is found in all sound studios. Adding reverb is usually one of the last things done when making a piece of music. Reverb makes sounds come alive by placing them in different kinds of simulated spaces. Almost everything sounds better with some reverb!
A reverb unit alllows one to simulate the sound of a small room or a large hall. The most important factor is the reverberation time, which describes the length of time it takes for a sound to completely die away in a space.
A reverb unit attempts to simulate the reflections (echoes) from surfaces in a space. This is not easily done, and there are both good and poor quality reverb units.
Reverberation Time controls the duration of the effect. Large values give the sense of a large space.
Mix determines how much reverb is to be included in relation to the original sound. If this value is set low, it makes a sound seem near. It it is set high, the sound seems far away.
