Time Stretch

Stretching allows one to stretch a sound out in time. Small details that are not usually heard become apparent when the sound is stretched.

How does Stretch work?
It is a complicated task to change the duration of a sound without changing the pitch as well. The Stretch program found here uses a technique that cuts the sound up into small pieces. The distance between these pieces is then changed to create different effects.

The program does not have a control curve, because the whole sound is stretched with the same factor.
